Busy year, so far

Since I posted last, I’ve written another feature on contract and a new spec feature. I’ve also done several rewrites on existing work.
I’ve got three new active projects - all features - in various states of development.
I’m also still on the hunt for representation. I’m getting quite a few more read requests. I’ll attribute that to better queries.
I’ve also been targeting production companies with queries. If I can’t find a rep, I might as well try to sell my work on my own.

Christmas

It’s been a good year. I’ve worked as a contract writer for Voyage Media for over two years. Along the way, I’ve written two new feature specs and done several rewrites on some of my older projects.

Next year will be more of the same. I’ve got three new feature projects in the early stages of development. I’m also hoping to do more work for Voyage and a couple of contract projects directly.

I’ll try to post updates more often. But no promises.

I launched the new site a few weeks ago. I’ve been making tweaks to it every few days. I think it might be stable.

Welcome to the new KenHenderson.com. After years of hosting my work on Blogger, I’ve moved to Squarespace to give my projects a cleaner, more focused home. This site will feature a curated selection of my original screenplays - both feature films and pilots - as well as samples from the work I’ve done as a writer-for-hire.
